To create a challenging 18-hole golf course designed in association with Annika Sorenstam, her first signature design project.
The Site
The Euphoria Golf Estate is located in the beautiful and tranquil setting in the Waterberg mountains, only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg.
The Course
The course favours strategic play rather than long hitters, each tee complex is slightly elevated providing the player with a great view of the hole and surrounding bushveld plains. Wide undulating fairways with wild grasses and deep bunkers give the course a links feel on many holes. Each hole is unique with many crossing a natural water ravine which runs through the site.
Status
- The course opened for play in May 2008.
