The Brief

As part of the preparations for the 2018 Ryder Cup, carry out an analysis of the golf course and its surroundings and make recommendations for improvements that are required to ensure the staging of the event is a success.

The Course

Working with a team from The European Tour, French Golf Federation and Le Golf National, as well as various other consultants, a full assessment of the golf course has been carried out, looking in detail at playability and conditioning as well as spectator and hospitality requirements and transport and circulation needs. Recommendations have been put forward and detailed design has begun.

Status

Work on the venue will be phased over the next three years.
