The Brief

Carry out major remodeling of this James Braid golf course to further develop and enhance the reputation of Dalmahoy as a popular golfing destination and to create a golf course that will once again be able to host international golf tournaments.

The Solutions

• Improved finish to golf course by replacing two very short par 4 holes with new holes on adjoining land. Five new greens built to improve surface drainage and visibility issues.
• Course re-bunkered to improve strategy. Bunkers returned to their original form in classic James Braid style.

Status

• The East Course was home to the Scottish Seniors Open from 2006-2008.
