To design a Sandy Lyle championship standard golf course, an 18 hole members course, a 6 hole academy course, driving range and other practice facilities on a site near Strausberg, 35km north-east of Berlin.
The Course
The courses are located in one of the most scenic areas of Brandenburg. The Sandy Lyle Course measures 7,100 yards and makes for a demanding test, characterised by Lyle’s enthusiasm for links golf. The Westside Course is shorter and has many enjoyable and highly strategic golf holes.
Status
Schloss Wilkendorf opened in 1995 and is recognized as one of the top golf complexes in Germany.
